My career started in sales, early on at companies like Yelp, SurveyMonkey, and New Relic, and evolved into building teams, making cross-functional connections, and being ready and willing for anything out of my comfort zone.

Even with my unearned privilege, exposure, and familiarity in these white and male-dominated spaces, I have experienced blatant discrimination, microaggressions, and subtle and constant reminders that this system in which we exist is not intended for my success.

My background in go-to-market, investing, and the non-profit sector allows me to jump from space to space with contextual familiarity, a fresh perspective, and a compassionate yet unsympathetic style that both resonates with and deeply challenges my clients, portfolio company founders, and co-investors.

I am a descendant of Italian WWI refugees, enslaved Africans in Eastern-shore Maryland, and Jim Crow South survivors. I am a retired record-holding Division I NCAA Water Polo athlete, RYT certified yoga and meditation instructor, adopted mom to one gorgeous Great Dane, and parent of two amazing children.
